the Grocery Store

Our story begins in 1925, when my great-grandfather Ettore decides to open a butchery and grocery store in Cerreto di Spoleto, thus passing from pig breeders, family tradition since the nineteenth century, to traders.

The business continued passing into the hands of grandfather Enio, who managed the store even during the dark years of the Great War, until the early 70s, when the management then passed to my mother Margherita, to whom is dedicated the current name of the business, “Mom’s Shop”.

Soon our business will turn 100 years of history, it will be up to me and my family to celebrate this milestone, giving continuity, innovation and modernity, without losing sight of the values transmitted by the three generations who have worked in this grocery store, welcoming customers and selecting products from the many small artisan suppliers in the surroundings of this little but magic corner of Valnerina, in the heart of Umbria…

Ah, my name is Federica, nice to meet you!
